Yunnan tea classified as GFOP. It means that it is a high-quality black and aromatic tea with golden tip leaves. Yunnan black tea is also called Dianhong tea, it is a Chinese organic tea produced in Yunnan province. Although Yunnan is considered the original home of the tea bush, the production of black tea did not begin there until the late 1930s. Black tea is exported to Western countries.
The taste of Dianhong tea is rich and soft. Since Yunnan is not far from India, it is no surprise that Dianhong tea has a similar character to Assam tea.
