Xihu Longjing, or Dragon's Well, is in Chinathe most famous tea. It was already named after the village of Hangzhou Prefecture in Zheijang Province in the Middle Ages during the Song Dynasty. According to a traditional story, a well on the edge of Longjing village was the abode of a mighty dragon. The Dragon's Well (Longjing) was, for example, the favorite tea of Emperor Qianjong, known as a tea lover. The emperor chose 18 tea bushes from the village, from which tea would be made for him.

These tea bushes are organically grown and can still be found in the village and can be seen by tourists. In April 2015, the original Xihu Longjing was rated as the second most valuable tea quality in China. Organic certificate FI-EKO-201 produced in China in 2020.

Brewing: 2 teaspoons per 2 dl of water at 80 C, brewing time 2-3 min. It is often worth doing the first brewing for 2.5 minutes. The tea leaves make four brews. You can also use gaiwan brew for tea.

Note! We sell tea by the gram, so the tea is packed in one bag. For example, if you order 2 pieces of tea, it is 50 grams in total, which is packed in one bag.
