Portuguese mint tea 25 g (organic) Hauduke

Mint tea consists of 100% organically grown spearmint (Mentha spicata). Its leaves are cut and dried into 4-7 mm pieces. Spearmint is a cross between gray mint and apple mint. Its taste is slightly sweeter than peppermint.

Old Tea Shop produces spearmint on a small organic farm near Braga in northern Portugal. The mint has been collected in July and brought to Finland after drying.

Mint has been found to have health-promoting effects, such as an effect that promotes digestion, and it gives a restful night's sleep as an evening drink. In addition, mint eliminates bad breath for several hours. FI-EKO-201 produced in Portugal.

Stewing: 1-2 teaspoons per 2 dl of water at 100 C, 3-5 min.
